Lumbar disc protrusion refers to the series of syndrome arisen from the waist cartilaginous

intercalaries’s protrusion or the frequent cold, which oppresses the nerve channels. The

major symptoms of this disease are pains and heavy aches in waist and thighs, and

numbness in legs, heels, foot backs, and toes. These symptoms are called “lumbar disc

protrusion”. At the initial stage, the patient will usually feel aches in the waist , numbness in

thighs and legs. With the development of the situation , acute pains accompanying with

numbness will emerge in the waist, buttocks (piriform muscle),outside of the feet, posterior

fossa, and legs may emerge. In worse cases, the patient may suffer from function

disturbance in movement of limbs and may loose the labor force. As to those of such a long

lasting disease, operation may be considered(however some people may be ineffective).

I．Therapeutic time:

   The treatment of lumbar disc protrusion should be conducted preferably at the initial phase

 when any damage is discovered to the waist and aches or distending pains appears. At this
